The Belvedere

The word gazebo derives from the eighteenth century, when some learned and humorous mind added the Latin suffix that means ‘I shall' to the English word ‘gaze', hence, ‘I shall look out'. The gazebo is more open and airy than a summerhouse and the Belvedere features distinctive ogee arches on its open sides and timber deck flooring, with bench seating as an option. Painted, or stained, the gazebo is both beautiful to look out from, as well as being a traditional and attractive addition to the garden.
